Why are the institutional injustice and the lack of fairness omnipresent in Serbia? A pragmatic assessment of plural orders of worth

Recent results from Round 9 of the European Social Survey (ESS) indicate that Serbia differs other countries in terms justice and fairness. Whereas Serbian people?s dissatisfaction relating to unjust income distribution, unfair employment chances political institutions may not be surprising, these findings still raise a dozen questions. Situated within contemporary discussions on normativity sociology survey methodology, this paper aims reassess moral grammar judgments. By endorsing tenets pragmatic its principal aim recognize plural modes valuation criticism reflective capacities social actors judge evaluate, develops around few major points. First, we underline how most approaches axiology remain stuck co-determinist framework, thereby renewing number dualisms. Instead, opt for relational approach further present theoretical model Boltanski Thev?not enables locating different assessments worth. After setting our methodological framework against ?externalist? epistemology, explore key assumption above-mentioned high rates come as problem feasible ?truce? between domestic regime civic polity, ruled by proclaimed legality, representativeness impersonal character.
